Infinity-double...

...something my little brother used to say...

But it's been infinity-double since I last wrote... I am lame. But here I am writing once again.

THE INTERN
I am "the Intern" at my church.. well, one of "the Interns" but no need to go into technicalities. At my church I help out in the Children's ministry on Wednesdays with Awana where I am the game guy and on Sunday mornings, reading to the kids during first service. I am also involved in the College ministry where I am teaching on occasion, sorta helping lead the group and heading up our Guy's Nights where we eat, have fun (usually video games) have a short devotional and a time to pray for each other. All in all, it's been an interesting (meant in a good way) 9 months of interning, nothing too official as per a time schedule or set times or responsibilities yet but I'm going to be the Guinea Pig for my church's Internship Program. I'm good at being a guinea pig.

THE KNIFE GUY
Almost 9 months ago I got hired on at a local knife company, Benchmade in Oregon City. So far it's been pretty awesome, working Receiving, Warehouse, and Inspection as "Material Handling." Basically I deal with stuff. Specific, I know.. but it's kind of what it is. Anything that comes into the plant or is used to build knives passes through my hands or the people I work alongside. A great, growing company to work for, possibilities for moving around, and good people to work with.

So basically none of this was in "my plan" when I was at Bible College... instead God laughed at me and all this happened... It's been great so far and God's been really teaching me how His plan's always the best. :) He's been teaching me and doing other things too but I must go again, Bed time. Early day tomorrow.

Much Love!
